A licence logo is not the whole story.
How to trace a brand name to the legal entity and source record behind it.
Start with the exact entity
Record the legal company name, website domain and any licence number you have. A familiar brand name alone is not enough to identify the responsible business.
Open the official register
Use the regulator’s own website. In the British register, check the legal entity, the activity covered, the status and the dates. Do not infer a casino permission from a licence for a different activity.
Keep the jurisdiction in view
This directory records the jurisdiction of its source. That is not a claim that the operator is authorised in every country or that you are eligible to use it.
Save the evidence and its limits
Keep the source URL and the date you read it. A current licence entry does not establish withdrawal performance, financial strength or the outcome of a future dispute. Those are separate research questions.
